Inagro Naturals Pvt Ltd began its journey in late 2020, born from a simple yet determined family dream during one of the world’s most uncertain times. As the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe, we—like many—faced personal and financial challenges. With no proper workspace, limited capital, and only our determination to guide us, we took the first steps by drying ginger and turmeric on a very small scale.
But we were not alone in this journey. In those early days, we reached out to a few women in our surrounding community—many of whom were also facing hardships and uncertainty. Together, we began building something meaningful. What started as a tiny, collective effort slowly took shape, fueled by resilience, shared purpose, and a deep belief in the power of collaboration. Today, those same women are the backbone of our business, growing alongside us every step of the way.
By 2020, recognizing the rising demand for natural, plant-based food products, we found our niche in dehydrated citrus. We began with lime, lemon, and orange slices, later introducing Sri Lanka’s own sweet orange as our signature addition. These citrus products quickly became our way of blending with the growing cocktail culture, offering bartenders and creatives the perfect garnish. Alongside this, we continued to build a tropical fruit range — pineapple, mango, banana, and papaya — crafted as wholesome, plant-based snacks to meet the rising demand for healthy indulgence
